Diana L. DeFrate, CFP®, CPA

Diana is the co-founder of the financial services company DeFrate & Paavola LLC, and a member of the PFG Financial Advisors, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor. Diana specializes in personal financial planning, including retirement and post-retirement planning, asset management and risk management strategies (life, disability income and long term care insurance). She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Susquehanna University. Diana holds series 7 and 66 licenses, and is a Registered Representative with Walnut Street Securities, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and received her CPA in 1992. Prior to starting her career in financial planning, Diana held numerous senior financial positions in a Fortune 500 media company.

Katriina Paavola, CFP®, MBA

Katriina is a financial consultant at DeFrate & Paavola LLC, specializing in retirement planning, wealth management strategies, risk management strategies (life, disability income and long term care insurance), and college funding strategies. She received her Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Schiller International University in London, U.K., and her MBA Degree in Finance and Marketing from Pace University in New York City, N.Y. Katriina holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses and is a Registered Representative with Walnut Street Securities, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Prior to becoming an Investment Adviser Representative with the PFG Financial Advisors Network, Katriina worked in the financial services industry as a financial consultant, analyzing the capital markets, as a specialist covering Fixed Income markets, and as a Strategic Planner managing projects for a large media institution.
